This topic will cover how to connect ServiceTitan Chat to LaunchSMS, as well as what capabilities this integration has.
ServiceTitan has SMS chat built into their software which allows CSRs to communicate with their customers via text message. However, the conversation needs to be initiated by CSRs in most cases unless a customer directly text’s a company. Using the LaunchSMS Chat Widget you can now send notifications directly to the ServiceTitan Chat dashboard.
To set up this connection:
- Log into ServiceTitan and get the phone number you would like to send LaunchSMS notifications to. Make sure that the phone number being used is SMS capable.
- Log into LaunchSMS and navigate to Settings > Communications > Notifications
- In the “SMS Notification For New Chat Message” field please add the phone number you just copied from ServiceTitan into the field. Make sure to separate your numbers by a comma if more than one phone number is present.
- Once the phone number is added make sure that “SMS Notification For New Chat Message” is toggled on, then click on the submit button.
- You’re done.
Now when customers use the LaunchSMS Chat widget on the website those notifications will now go into ServiceTitan Chat.
