This guide explains how to display Local Content Engine content on a WordPress website using the Launch365 WordPress plugin.
What the WordPress Plugin Does
The Launch365 WordPress plugin uses server-side requests from WordPress to pull Local Content Engine data and render it as crawlable page content.
This lets you display:
- City maps
- Mini-job cards
- City lists
- Service-type filtered job content
- Pagination
- Auto-generated city pages
Prerequisites
Before setup, make sure you have:
- A working WordPress website
- The Launch365 Local Content Engine WordPress plugin installed
- Your Launch365 API key
- Local Content Engine enabled in LaunchSMS
- Mini jobs already generating from at least one provider
Step 1: Install the Plugin
Upload and activate the Launch365 Local Content Engine plugin on your WordPress site.
After activation, open the plugin settings page inside WordPress.
Step 2: Add Your Launch365 API Key
In WordPress plugin settings, enter your:
- Launch365 API Key
The plugin uses this key to know which company data to load.
Note: the Launch365 API base URL is fixed in the plugin and does not need to be manually entered.
Step 3: Optional Auto Page Settings
The plugin can auto-create city pages when new mini-job cities become available.
Available auto page settings include:
- Page title template
- Page URL template
- Parent page
- Page template
- Sidebar
- Page status
- Content template
- H1 template
- Meta title template
- Meta description template
The plugin accepts tokens such as:
[sa-city][sa-state]
Step 4: Optional Sync Webhook
The WordPress plugin exposes a sync webhook URL that can be used by LaunchSMS to trigger page syncs immediately when new cities appear.
Example format:
https://yourdomain.com/wp-json/lsms-jobmap/v1/sync?key=...
If you want immediate sync from LaunchSMS, place this value into:
- Local Content Engine > WordPress Sync Webhook URL
If you do not use the webhook, the plugin can still sync on its own schedule.
Step 5: Add Shortcodes to Pages

Testing Checklist
After setup, confirm that:
- The plugin connects successfully with your API key
- Mini-job cards render on the page
- Images and/or videos appear correctly
- Service-type filters work
- Pagination works
- City pages auto-create if enabled
- The sync webhook works if configured
Troubleshooting
If content does not appear:
- Verify the Launch365 API key is correct
- Confirm Local Content Engine is enabled in LaunchSMS
- Confirm mini jobs already exist
- Confirm the shortcode uses bothÂ
city andÂstate together when filtering by city - Confirm the page is published and not cached incorrectly
