About this release This release includes the all-new LaunchSMS Payments, Channels, updates to the scheduled campaigns section as well as updates to dashboard charts. |
New
LaunchSMS Payments
Using LaunchSMS Payments, you can request and receive payments using text messages instead of using more traditional methods like email, mail, and invoices. Payments sent over text have a much higher response rate.
LaunchSMS Payments leverages the Stripe API to create Products and generate payment links sent via text message to contacts.
To go with LaunchSMS Payments, users need to use the new Products section to create Products and Services and generate payment links.
Additional documentation can be found here about how to set up and use LaunchSMS Payments.
Channels
Channels are a new feature that allows users to identify where their leads are coming from. In previous versions of LaunchSMS all inbound contacts came through as standard contacts, now using Channels, contacts are now identified based on where they are coming from.
In this iteration of Channels, users are segmented into the following categories:
- Web – This is typically used for inbound leads that come from website forms.
- Widget – Used to identify inbound leads that come from the website widget
- Facebook Messenger – Used to identify inbound leads that come from the Facebook Messenger Widget
- Default – Any inbound lead that does not have any other channel associated with it.
