After you subscribe to LaunchSMS, you’ll automatically receive a welcome email from LaunchSMS with a link to log into the admin portal to configure webchat.
Before installing Webchat, you must first identify what CMS (Content Management System) you are using. Once you’ve identified your CMS, you can follow the specific instructions outlined for your system if it is listed in our installation guide, or follow the general guidelines below.
To install the Webchat widget on your site:
- Sign in to your (CMS) account.
- Find the HTML editor that lets you edit the contents of your site.
- Copy and paste the Webchat code snippet right before the </body> tag on each page you want the widget to appear.
- Save the changes.
Most CMS solutions make it easy to add code to your site. To simplify things, we’ve outlined the process for adding Webchat to common CMSs like WordPress, Joomla, etc.
Once the Webchat widget code has been successfully installed, the status of the widget will change to installed on the Webchat page.
